EA Gospel: Your music has inspired many people across Africa. What keeps you motivated after all these years?
Mercy Masika: My greatest motivation is seeing lives transformed through worship. Every song I release is a prayer that someone will find hope, healing, and a closer relationship with God.
EA Gospel: Where do you usually find inspiration for your songs?
Mercy Masika: Most of my songs are born during prayer, Bible study, or everyday experiences. God often speaks through simple moments, and I write them down before developing them into songs.
EA Gospel: The gospel music industry has changed a lot. What advice would you give to upcoming gospel artists?
Mercy Masika: Focus on your calling before your career. Build your relationship with God, stay authentic, keep learning, and don't chase trends at the expense of your message.
EA Gospel: What challenges have shaped your ministry, and how have you overcome them?
Mercy Masika: Like anyone in ministry, I've faced seasons of discouragement and uncertainty. Prayer, family support, and trusting God's timing have helped me remain faithful through every season.
EA Gospel: What can your fans look forward to in the coming months?
Mercy Masika: I'm working on new worship music, collaborating with other ministers, and preparing for several live worship events. My prayer is that every new project will encourage people to keep trusting God regardless of their circumstances.
