Our Purpose

Built on the Rock

Our purpose is to raise Christ-centered ministers — music ministers after God's own heart. In Matthew 7, Jesus talks about two builders. Both built houses that looked the same from the outside. But when the rain came, one stood and one fell.

At East African Gospel Academy, we believe the Gospel is returning to our roots. Before we were a school, we were a prayer fellowship — because we knew that the music we build is only as eternal as the foundation it stands on.

We are not just training instrumentalists and vocalists. We are digging deep. We are building character. We are ensuring that when the storms of life hit our graduates, their ministry stands — built on the Rock, Christ Jesus.

Music is more than entertainment — it is a powerful force that shapes identity, culture, heritage, and spiritual beliefs. We raise up music ministers after God's own heart because music is the bridge between heaven and earth.

Matthew 7:24–25

Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Ministry Arms

Beyond the Classroom

🧒

Children & Teens

Children & Teens Ministry

Raise Up a Worshiper

We exist to catch them young — to plant the heart of a worshiper in the next generation before the world plants its own seeds. We believe that worship is not just for adults. Children have spirits that can sense God. Teens have voices that can declare His glory. Our mission is to train and equip them for ministry now, not someday.

Our Vision

To see children and teens leading worship in their schools, churches, and communities — influencing their generation for Christ through music and ministry.

Outreach & Mentorship

Outreach & Community Worship

Worship Collective

Made up primarily of Academy students who take the worship they are learning in the classroom and release it into the communities of Kampala and beyond. We are not just a music team — we are a movement of worshipers carrying the presence of God into schools, universities, and local communities.

Our Heart

Releasing the worship we learn in the classroom into the streets, schools, and communities of East Africa — because God's presence belongs everywhere.

Student Voices

What Our Students Say

Before EA Gospel Academy, I had the gift but no direction. The Academy didn't just teach me guitar — they taught me why I play. My music now flows from a deep place in God. I lead worship at my church every Sunday and it feels like ministry, not performance.

🎸

Daniel Ssemwanga

Guitar Graduate · Kampala, Uganda

I came to EA Gospel Academy as a shy girl who loved to sing. I left as a worship leader who understood the Bible, knew her instrument, and had a heart shaped for ministry. The spiritual formation here changed everything about how I approach music.

🎤

Grace Auma

Vocal Graduate · Gulu, Uganda

The Certificate in Church Media completely transformed how our church handles sound and media. I came in knowing nothing about live audio. I left able to manage our PA system, run our streams, and train others. Best investment our church ever made.

📺

Timothy Mutabazi

Church Media Graduate · Mbarara, Uganda

I am a pastor and I enrolled in the Church Administration program with low expectations. It shattered them. I now have systems in place for finances, events, and pastoral care that have completely transformed how our church runs. God sent me here.

⛪

Pr. James Okiror

Church Admin Graduate · Soroti, Uganda

After graduating, I opened my own music school for children in Nairobi. The foundation EA Gospel Academy built in me — the theology, the discipline, the love for Jesus first — is the same foundation I am now passing on. The mustard seed is multiplying.

🌱

Faith Wanjiku

Piano Graduate · Nairobi, Kenya

The Worship Collective outreach changed my life. Taking what we learned in the classroom into schools and communities was the most powerful experience of my training. I understood that worship is not just for Sunday — it's a lifestyle and a mission.
